Hands-on willow weaving workshop

Cost:

£120.00 per person

Duration:

4h

About this experience

Weave your own plant climber from locally sourced willow under the expert guidance of Jay Davey.

Join us for a half-day workshop to learn all about the creative potential of willow, the basic techniques of willow weaving and weave your own conical plant climber to use in your garden.

Jay will guide you through the entire process, step-by-step, to create your own piece perfect for supporting climbing plants such as sweet pea, French beans, and trailing nasturtium.

Places are strictly limited to allow for careful supervision and one-on-one advice from Jay.

Tickets include tuition and all materials (and you will be able to take your finished climber home with you) as well as tea or coffee on arrival, and a barbeque lunch.

Secateurs can be provided, but we encourage you to bring your own pair if you have some you are already comfortable working with. Please wear enclosed shoes and suitable clothing.
