Flower Pressing with JamJar - Saturday 18th May

Join us at Heckfield Home Farm to create your own pressed flower art. Celebrated London florists, JamJar, will be hosting a flower pressing workshop alongside our May produce sale. They will demonstrate the art of flower pressing, including how to select and prepare your flowers through the seasons. With JamJar's guidance, you will choose from a variety of flowers grown in our own Market Garden. You will also be guided through the techniques for mounting your pressed flowers, using pre-pressed flowers from their archives and a variety of materials to create your own unique artwork. At the end of the workshop, both the press itself and your creation are yours to keep.

Based in South London, JamJar is a floristry studio and a contemporary flower pressing studio with a curated edit of artwork and homewares.
Their flower pressing studio specialises in creating pressed flower artworks, from single species framed pieces, to ambitious installations, private commissions and exhibitions. Their book, The Modern Flower Press, is the go-to-guide for pressing flowers in the 21st century.
JamJar's floristry studio creates imaginative schemes for events, weddings and special projects. Their multidisciplinary team of florists and producers work throughout the UK and internationally, providing a bespoke design service, from concept through to delivery, execution and beyond.
JamJar was founded by Melissa Richardson in 2009, followed by JamJar Edit in 2017 co-founded with Amy Fielding.
